Cancellation Policy – Mela Service

At Mela Service, we aim to provide flexibility for customers while ensuring fairness for service providers. This Cancellation Policy explains how bookings can be canceled and any applicable charges.
1. Customer Cancellations
- Free Cancellation: Customers may cancel a booking immediately for instant services and up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without penalty.
- Late Cancellation: If a booking is canceled lately for instant service and less than 24 hours before the scheduled service, a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the service fee may apply.
- No-Show: If the customer is unavailable at the scheduled time and location, the booking will be marked as completed, and if paid no refund will be issued. If not, treat as late cancelation.
2. Provider Cancellations
- Providers must notify customers immediately for instant service and at least 24 hours in advance for scheduled service, if they cannot fulfill a booking.
- If a provider cancels late, Mela Service will assist the customer in rebooking with another provider and issue a full refund if paid.
- Repeated late cancellations by providers may result in account suspension.
3. Force Majeure
In cases of unforeseen events (natural disasters, strikes, emergencies, or government restrictions), cancellations may be exempt from penalties. Refunds or rescheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
4. Cancellation Process
- Customers and providers can cancel bookings directly via the Mela Service app or website.
- A confirmation of cancellation will be sent via email or app notification.
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed according to the Refund Policy.
